Who could you be

Quiet girl?

Yes, I mean you

Whose name comes easily

To anyone’s lips,

But who no one knows.

Perhaps you are unsure yourself.

What mysteries crouch within

Your jar?

What mysteries crouch within

Your soul?

What insatiable lust leads

Some man to lift its lid?

And so to loose its devilish

Contents.

Are you and your jar somehow

No different?

Does your quiet beauty

Conceal darknesses

And lure men to perdition?

Could you even know?

And can we?

Could you tell?

And would you?
